![]() ![]() Overall, I really liked the bracelet system because it made it extremely easy to get into our room and we were even able to give our oldest room access as well. I kept my eye on it throughout our stay and it was just fine. Our bracelets were pretty comfortable, although I made my youngest son’s bracelet a little too loose. You are to wear the bracelet your entire stay, but you really do get used to it. I would recommend that you carefully judge how snug you adjust your bracelet because once it’s on, it’s on and you have to pay a hefty fee to replace it. This bracelet is extremely important as it gives you access to the waterpark AND serves as your room key. When you check into the Great Wolf Lodge, each family member receives a bracelet. It was a little intimidating at first, but once we had our bearings, we were able to get around with no problems. With 52 acres and 450,000 square feet of construction, it’s massive. When we first walked up to Great Wolf Lodge it was MUCH bigger than I imagined. Needless to say, he was completely shocked but ready for a weekend of fun! My oldest had this expression on his face like, “Huh?” He said, “Is the furniture store next to Great Wolf Lodge?” We kept quiet and found a parking space. Three and a half hours later (seriously, he barely complained and the little one watched a couple of movies, completely oblivious) we pulled into the Great Wolf Lodge entrance. We drove right into Texas and he didn’t have a clue (we live in OKC, OK). I could not believe the patience in this kid. Plus, it’s Mother’s Day weekend, so it’s special.” It’s a long drive, but they have great furniture so it’s worth it. Us: “Oh, we’re going to IKEA, a furniture store. Son: “WHERE are we going? You’ve been driving forever.” My son had NO IDEA that we were going to Great Wolf and surprisingly didn’t say a word until 45 minutes into our drive. Two weeks ago, my husband, 3-year-old, and I picked up my oldest son from school and headed straight for Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, Texas. ![]()
